On May 19th at around 6 pm I finally graduated high school! It was a hectic four years (and also really hectic grad rehearsals on the 17th and 18th) but I finally did it! I figured i'd type a report about what happened during the ceremony AND the after party cause it was a LONG night; I didn't get to sleep for around 26 hours cause of it!

So, I woke up early on the 19th really really nervous. I was telling myself to try and sleep more cause I knew I wouldn't get to sleep until the next afternoon, really, but I couldn't bring myself to do it. I went on the internet for a long time and calmed down a bit and then I got ready. Makeup, dress, cap gown and everything, I made my way to school. I sat in the gym and waited with everyone and then the teachers went around giving everyone a white satin lei. After that they passed out cords and different colored tassles to people who earned it. Aside from my National Honors Society Stole, I also got a gold cord that symbolizes me graduating at the top ten of my class, and a silver cord that represented how I completed the Arts and Comm Class pathcore for about 3 years. After that the teachers did little congrats speeches for us and then they gave us instructions on what to do. We all lined up and quietly walked to the field.

There were HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE. Sitting, standing, WATCHING US. It was nerve wracking dkfjgd. We finally made it to our seats and then the ceremony started. Our 6 valedictorians made their speeches, we went up to get our "diplomas", we switched our tassles and then we sang our class song and it ended. After that I went to my letter and got bombarded with money and candy and flowers and balloons. It was crazy. PLUS MY GRANDMA LITERALLY TRIED SETTING ME UP WITH THIS BOY THAT SHE THINKS IS CUTE OMG. Ever since she first saw him last year at the NHS ceremony, shes been trying to hook us up. He was valedictorian this year too so that totally convinced her that he was worth getting FFF. Out of the blue he came up to me and gave me a hug and a congrats and my grandma pulled out a lei and told me to give it to him so I did. Then she made us take a picture together and after he left, she told me she specifically made that lei just for me to give it to him. I was trippin out LMFAO.

After that my mom signed me into Project Grad. If you don't know what that is, it's basically this grad after party that the school puts on to keep us out of trouble for the night and so we can be with our classmates one last time. It lasts literally all night and you get absolutely no sleep and you come back at like 8 in the morning and you don't get to know where you go until you show up at the actual venue. So when I got into the gym, they gave me this blue shirt with a tribal design and it listed all our names on the back. They also gave us a backpack with a towel (that had the same thing as the shirt), a camera and some snacks. There was a HUGE table of sweets and a cooler filled with drinks and there was music blasting to keep us entertained. Everyone got to the floor and we all danced and stuff fff. After that we took a group picture and then we were separated into 3 color groups and hauled off on one of those really nice Hawaiian tour buses.

We ended up going to this small Italian restaurant and that place was frickin weird LOL It was the first time I ever went there and there were thousands of black and white pictures on the wall and they were the weirdest things like nuns in bumper cars and rabid dogs fff. We at pasta and chicken and cheesecake and everyone was really loud and yelling and it was total chaos. After that, we went upstairs and we all squeezed into a private theater where we watched Battleship. It was a pretty good movie, the effects were cool and stuff. After that finished at around 2 am, we were all given a $70 gaming card and we went to an arcade. They had a buffet of desserts in the middle of the arcade so I munched on all that. I also won tickets and bought a Domo and a Pikachu doll, plus some hedgehog erasers. I also won 5 things from the crane machine.

At around 5 am a hypnotist showed up and hypnotized some of the students for an hour and then we ate breakfast and we were hauled back to school by 8 am. My dad signed me out and then I went home and stayed up for a few more hours until I fell asleep for 7 hours and now i'm here ^u^ My hair is a mess and my makeup is smeared everywhere but I don't care.

All and all, it was really fun. Most of the time I hate the people of my graduating class but yesterday was a total blast and i'm going to miss them
